Communities / Thu 14th Nov 2013 pm30 12:44pm

A RUGBY loving Harlow man has suddenly passed away.

An announcement was made on the Harlow Rugby Club website.

A spokesperson said: “It is with deep regret that we have to inform club members and their friends of the sudden and tragic death of Rhys Thacker.

“He attended Mark Hall School and then St. Marks in Harlow and lived and played rugby here.

“He will be well known to past and present Saints team members and supporters.

“Rhys passed away at home on Sunday afternoon between about 2:30pm and 4pm. His girlfriend Dee, family, friends and neighbours all tried their hardest to do what they could and were joined by Doctors, Paramedics and the Air Ambulance.

“Rhys had been out the night before with one of his close-friends but he said he didn’t feel too good and returned home. As soon as we find out funeral arrangements we will pass them on.
