Once the land has been cleared they will begin planting fruits and vegetables and keeping chickens and bee’s.
A spokesperson said: “We are looking for volunteers who want to get involved with the project from the beginning.
“If you are interested in bringing social, economic, environmental and educational benefits to your area please send us a message or email: [email protected]”.
On the Day:
We begin at 10am and finish around 4pm, there in no expectation that you have to stay all day and more than welcome to come down at anytime.
You will need to bring wellies, your lunch, drinks and if possible some gloves and a fork / spade / secateurs.
There are no facilities on site and nothing in walking distance, we will erect a small toilet tent before we start.
The site is accessible from road, you can get directions from the following link and the and nearest postcode is CM22 1SB
To access the site drive into Hobtoe Road and you will see a sign that says Foldcroft Family Centre follow the signs along the access road past the existing allotments and you will see Foldcroft on your left hand side. You can park past the site in the car park area.
We look forward to seeing you there. Please come along for as long as you wish.
