Essex Cares rolls out innovative StoriiCare software

ESSEX Cares Ltd (ECL), one of the leading care companies in South East England, has implemented an innovative new software platform, StoriiCare, across all of their older people day services. They will use the system to improve outcomes of the people they work with, increase efficiency in recording care activities and keep family members better connected with their loved ones.

The new StoriiCare software will personalise services for the individuals using day services and enable families to connect with their loved ones from around the world. The platform had previously been tested with a small pilot group before rolling out to multiple sites.

ECL was established by Essex County Council in 2009 as the UK’s first Local Authority Trading Company, providing care and support in South East England for residents at home and in local communities. With over 1,000 employees, the company supports over 50,000 people each year to live independent and fulfilling lives.

StoriiCare is a senior care software company with offices in Edinburgh, London and San Francisco. Its founder, Cameron Graham, started the company in 2016 to help companies in the Senior Care Market transform the way they record care.

The centres also provide support with personal care along with offering bathing facilities on site.
