Harlow Scouts march through town to mark St George’s Day

HUNDREDS of scouts from across Harlow marched through the town centre to mark St George’s Day.
The groups include: Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as well as Explorers.
The Harlow districts are made up of the Following.
1st Roydon and Nazeing, 1st Great Parndon, 1st Kingsmoor, 2nd Great Parndon, 16th Harlow,
21st Harlow, (Old Harlow and Church Langley) and 25th Harlow, Islamic Group.
The parade started at the old helipad off Second Avenue and walked up and down Broad Walk.
They then paraded across The Water Gardens where they received a salute from the chair of Harlow Council, cllr Andrew Johnson.
Harlow Scouts I salute you 🫡 Should be more celebrations here and beyond for our St George’s day, used to be a national holiday, if an extra bank holiday this is the one. 🏴 🇬🇧
