HARLOW-based charity Rainbow Services were delighted to introduce Harlow’s Paringdon Pirates Walking Football Club to A Chance for Children – a not for profit organisation which offers young children day trips during the year to help broaden horizons, provide enriching life experiences, and improve life chances.
Paringdon Pirates donated £300 to purchase gifts to be given out by Santa to all the children who attended the A Chance for Children Christmas party in Katherines on Thursday morning.
Paringdon Pirates have both men’s and women’s teams and train at Paringdon Sports Club in Harlow. Every year the Pirates raise money to give to local good causes.
Connie Robinson, Founder of a Chance for Children said after the party:
“The Paringdon Pirates’ generous donation lit up the faces of our children, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Their joy and excitement were contagious, and we are deeply grateful for their kindness. These gifts not only brought smiles but also fostered new and equal opportunities for some of our children from disadvantaged backgrounds to practice their speech and language skills with their new experiences, which is at the heart of our mission.
The Chair of Paringdon Pirates Walking Football Club said:
“Paringdon Pirates are glad that the Christmas gifts brought smiles to the faces of the Children!”
