NEXT Saturday the 22nd of June the Livewire Trust are holding a fundraising event at Phoenix Live in The Harvey Centre. Kicking off the evening will be young musicians form the “Livewire Music Collective” with a set of original songs composed for recent performances such as “The Comet” and “LoveBeach”. All funds raised through ticket sales will go towards the repair of instruments and new instruments for the children who take part every week for free.

Harlow band The Peliroccos will be headlining the evening to bring a set of uplifting crowd pleasing covers and original songs from their recent album “Love Pain Love Again”.

Rory Davies, a Livewire trustee commented “This event is really important to young musicians in Harlow who want to learn to write and perform original music, especially those looking to compose songs for theatre. I’m very proud to have the LMC here at The Playhouse every Wednesday but they need support from the community to provide good, working equipment so the young pole taking part (for free I might add) get the best possible experience).

Kylan Adams from The Peliroccos (and former Livewire member) said “We are so proud of the kids at Livewire and we want to do our bit to help get them the instruments and equipment they need. Tickets are only a fiver and it’s going to be a great night, let’s have a party!”.
