ST Clare Hospice is thrilled to announce the return of Walking in Memory, with an exciting NEW location in Saffron Walden!

Now in its sixth year, St Clare’s flagship sponsored fundraising event is going to be bigger than ever!

The 5k sponsored walk aims to bring the community and their families together for a fun-filled day of celebration, laughter and remembrance.

The walk is not only an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have died, but also a chance to fundraise for those who provide round-the- clock care and support when it’s needed.

With limited NHS funding, we rely on our local community to help us raise money so we can continue being there for local families facing one of the most difficult journeys in life

Amy Winehouse, Head of Relationships Fundraising said ‘We are excited to announce an extra route this year. As well as our flagship walk through Hastingwood we will also be adding a walk starting from The Common in Saffron Walden, one of the most picturesque towns in Essex. Steeped in history this new route is a great addition to our Walking in Memory fundraiser.

The money raised will have a significant impact on St Clare. Raising just £50 could provide two hours of specialist, compassionate nursing care at our Inpatient Unit, and £100 could fund the entire Hospice at Home team for an hour.’

Entry is just £15 per adult, and £5 per child (age 16 and under). It includes:
