HARLOW scout Charlotte Roberts (17) has achieved her Kings Scout award whilst still being an Explorer and under 18.

The Kings Scout award is an award open to Explorer Scouts and Network Scouting members aged 16-25 so achieving this award at a young age is amazing and shows a high level of work and commitment.

There hasn’t been a Kings (formally Queens) scout for 14 years in Harlow.

Charlotte was awarded her Kings Scout on Monday night at their annual Carol Service at St Paul’s by Eloise Jack from Essex County Scouts in front of family and Harlow District Scouting.

Harlow District Explorer Scouts Team Leader Sarah Harris and the rest of the team (Aaron, Vitalius, Jude, Steven and Ashleigh) are all very proud of her.
