AN amazing finish seemed fitting to end another amazing day of primary school sport in Harlow.

Church Langley 6 took the first place with the very last ‘stone’ at this afternoon’s Kurling to cap a terrific day’s play.

Following the superb event in the morning, they had 25 teams attending the afternoon session for the Years 5 and 6 pupils.

Some late withdrawals allowed schools to bring extra pupils and nearly 200 pupils had an absolute blast in the ‘semi’ competitive environment.

Following first round group matches, the teams were ranked and polled according to their positions.

The top five consisted of Nazeing, Tanys Dell and three Church Langley teams. The matches were very tense and exciting, with Church Langley 6 taking victory with the very last throw, narrowly edging Tany’s Dell into 3^rd place (on count back) and Church Langley 3 into runner’s up position.
