Are you looking for a warm space this winter?

IT was only after a week of sub zero temperatures, that we asked Harlow Council if they had any “warm space” provision.

It appears they have:
There are warm spaces available in Harlow, including:
Harlow Playhouse, Playhouse Square, CM20 1LS
A warm and inviting space in the bar and cafe:
Monday to Thursday 10.30am to 5.30pm
Friday to Saturday 10.30am to 10.30pm
Libraries are open year-round for residents to keep warm, access the internet and free wifi.
If you run a venue and have a warm space available, email: [email protected] and the council will add it to its website www.harlow.gov.uk/warm-spaces
Look at what politicians of all parties and their obsession with NetZero has lead us. Highest energy prices in the world and the need for warm spaces. Why do people vote for them
"Libraries are open year-round for residents to keep warm, access the internet and free wifi." - but never on a Sunday and never after 7pm!
With libraries - the opening times of some are ridiculous - Mark Hall is barely open/ half a day here and there. That Harlow Library isn’t open on a Sunday is a real shame. Such a busy town centre, totally unused space that day.
I hear it’s nice and cozy at the council office( aka civic hall). Your taxes have paid for it so why nor go there to keep warm. The rest of us will be joining you soon as we head to net zero heating for everyone as no one can afford the extortionate cost of green energy.
