OVER the last few weeks, St Mark’s West Essex Catholic School sixth form students took on a number of assignments for Your Harlow.

Quick Stop Baby Stop

THE QUICK Stop Baby Stop is a family-owned business that has been around for 18 years.

They first began in Harlow’s town centre market, being stationed there for five years and in Bush Fair for the other thirteen.

When asked about the success, they claimed it varied.

Having its respective ups and downs as more people have begun to shop online since Covid.

But despite this they enjoy owning the shop.

They sell an array of items such as buggies, toys baby clothes and much more.

When asked about inflation it has not affected them much, stating Covid was worse.

The shop is within a quiet area, and so not many people visit the shop in person and would rather order online. When asked about this, they said that there needs to be more signage in Bush Fair so that they can gain more attention and gain in person shoppers.

Contrasting their in-person sales, they do have a good online presence.

They are available on a variety of social media platforms such as Facebook, Vinted, Instagram and even have their own website.

So, while there may be ups and downs to working in the shop, the family business is very much loved, with the family enjoying it very much.
