SMILES and success for the youngest squad at Harlow Gymnastics club, competing against up-and-coming stars from elite clubs, in the GK spring-loaded junior competitions at Salto Gymnastics club. This was the first competition for many of the gymnasts and they rose to the challenge by performing with perfection.

Georgie N and Darcey-Rae J shone in the Level 10 2018 event. Georgie was triumphant with the overall trophy and gold medal, and Darcey-Rae was narrowly behind, conquering the overall silver medal. The pair lit up the podium with Georgie capturing a duo of gold for vault and floor, as well as silver for bars and beam. Darcey-Rae collected a duo of gold for bars and beam, and silver on vault.

Royah A sparkled in the level 9 2019 event achieving the overall trophy and gold medal, along with gold on floor and a duo of silver for vault and bars.

In the level 9 2016 event, Katherine S gleamed with the overall silver after securing gold on floor, silver on bars and bronze on vault.

Grace W shimmered with the level 9 2018 JNR overall bronze medal after scooping gold on floor and silver on vault.

Competing in the biggest group of the event, and only 1 mark off the top score, Dolly G dazzled with the overall silver medal as well as silver medal on bars in the Level 10 2019 JNR. Teammates Clara A twinkled with the silver medal on beam and Robyn B glimmered with the gold medal on bars and bronze on vault in the same event.

Coach Lucy said: “The Harlow gymnasts looked fantastically presented and really performed their very best. I’m incredibly proud of their determination and team spirit throughout the competition.”
