WE DIPPED into the Harlow Volleyball Club website to see how the club had been getting on.

26th January 2014: The womens team started very well this as we won our away opening match in the group aginst Suffolk Three in Ipswich by 3-1 sets.

In their group are also Brentwood and Thurrock. The womens team is almost a new build team as many of the previous team are no longer part of the team. The team is playing with so much passion and showing really good skills and just need to train and play a bit more to get to the next level.

Even now this team is one of the favorites to win this group together with Brentwood where Volleyball have much more traditions compared to Harlow.

28th January 2014: Today was another good match for Harlow Mens team as they won our away match in Chelmsford 3-1 and moved to the top of their  group with one point above Brentwood and one match in hand.

This means they are in very good position but there are lots more games to be played until the end of the season in April.

They started this match un-focussed as leaving the opposition team to play more but very soon they came back and didn’t give the opposition team to get more than 15 points in each set.
