A FEW WEEKS ago, St Clare Hospice’s shop in Bishops Stortford put out an appeal for vinyl records. Our editor, Michael Casey, looked at his 12′ record collection, gathering dust in the attic and decided they needed to go to a better home.

So, on Waistcoat Wednesday, he popped along to the shop and handed over what has been described by this middle aged editor as “a treasure trove of eighties pop and dance music”.

So, if you are looking for some Scritti Politti, Shriekback, 23 Skidoo or China Crisis then head to the store in Stortford.

Funnily enough, among the collection was World in Motion by New Order. You’ve go to hold and give but do it at the right time……
