CHILDREN at Akhter Early Learning Centre on Perry Road in Staple Tye have made their own tributes to those who gave their lives in wars and conflicts.

Teacher Sinead Andrews said: “We asked children to come in dressed in red or purple (purple poppies for the animals during wartime).

Donations were made which will go to the British Legion.

“I thought it was a nice thing to show that we are showing our very young children, this next generation, how important it is to remember the brave ones before”.
