History / Sun 13th Nov 2022 at 02:52pm

A REMEMBRANCE Service for those who gave their lives in wars and conflicts around the world took place in Harlow Town Park on Sunday morning.

Hundreds attended an event that has become an important part of the civic calendar in the town.

The event is organised by the Harlow branch of the Royal British Legion and led by Reverend Albert Watson.

The laying of wreaths was led by Mrs Jackie Sully, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Essex as well as Rt Hon Robert Halfon MP, Chairman of Harlow Council, cllr Andrew Johnson and many others.

Rev Watson was keen to stress that we are remembering the losses and service of the past but also of the present and made specific reference to Ukraine.

Film of the service is below.

As usual Harlow has shown itself in its full glory! Albert has once more delivered a beautiful and fitting Service for our fallen to be remembered as they should be. Thank you so much for filming it for those of us who cannot get over anymore. It’s so very much appreciated.
