FRESHWATERS Primary Academy joined forces with BBC Essex to raise hundreds of pounds for Children in Need.

Pupils from nursery through to Year 6 took part in the charity morning.

It was a great day for all at the school as in the afternoon, they had, thanks to Asda, a visit from Puddly Bear.

Presenter, Rob Jelly faced over 400 penalty kicks from pupils at the school on Friday morning.

Freshwaters had raised over £275 by Friday afternoon but that amount may increase over the weekend and beyond.
