History / Wed 13th Nov 2024 at 04:28pm

OUR final news item covering the remembrance services across Harlow is from Old Harlow.

Members of the Harlow War Memorial Institute held a service opposite the Victoria Hall Theatre on Sunday.

A wreath was laid and a moment of silence was observed to remember all this who had fallen.

A number of the 126 men who fell in WW1 from Harlow lived in the Old Harlow area.

Many of their names can be found on the memorial in St Mary’s Church in Churchgate Street.
