Harlow Health Centres Trust awards £150,000 to health and wellbeing projects

Charity / Tue 4th Feb 2025 at 09:47am

IN 2024 Harlow Health Centres Trust awarded nearly £150,000 in grants funding and donations to support health and wellbeing related projects across Harlow and the surrounding area.

A total of 18 organisations were awarded funding, including Streets2Homes – Harlow Health Centres Trust were very proud to make a donation of £5,000 to them.

Streets2Homes are a Harlow-based charity that provides a day centre which seeks to reach out to and help those who are facing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

Streets2Homes Chief Executive Officer Kerrie Eastman stated “The donation from Harlow Health Centres Trust will be vital in helping us to buy essential items and extending our reach to support those that aren’t registered residents of Harlow but are experiencing homelessness or housing difficulties in the town. This work is not normally covered by the other sources of funding we receive so this donation and others like it makes a huge difference in enabling us to help provide support, opportunities for sustainability and improved outcomes to those in need.”

Harlow Health Centres Trust’s Grants & Donations programme is available throughout the year and we are eager to receive new applications. If your organisation has a project or service that requires funding support, please get in touch at [email protected] or visit https://hhct.org.uk/grants-donation/ for further information.

Keeping up the good work! So important these brilliant local organisations get these grants - they won’t get them from anywhere else at the mo!
