LAST month, we reported that the former chair of Harlow Council was set to undertake a charity “step” challenge on behalf of Prostate Cancer.

Ten days in, we asked Ian Beckett how it was going?

Ian said: “I have just completed week one of the March the Month – Prostate Cancer UK challenge with a total of 97,250 steps and having raised £825.

“I am grateful for all the encouragement and hoping for a few new sponsors for Prostate Cancer UK – only £175 away from £1,000”.
