Young Harlow rugby players inspired by World Cup winning Red Roses
Rugby / Wed 1st Oct 2025 at 07:58am
THE day after the Red Roses became the Women’s World Cup winners, Brentwood Blaze Women’s and Girls Rugby hosted the first of this season’s girls’ Pitch up and Plays.

Nearly 150 players ranging from year 6 to year 9 joined together for a full afternoon of rugby.
This included a number of players form Harlow.
It was great to see so many smiling faces and some great skills on display so early in the season – wonderful stuff!

Well done girls and Harlow Rugby club. The Harlow ladies go a long way to support the young girls to want to progress and these youngsters are forming lasting friendships. They also have a great disabilities training session
