Remembering those from Harlow and the villages who served and never returned
History / Wed 29th Oct 2025 at 09:33am
BACK in 2018, we paid tribute to the 126 men from Harlow and the villages, who left to fight in World War 1 and never came back.

This took the form of 126 residents reading the biographies of the men. We have a dedicated channel on our youtube channel where the films are stored.
We have also written pieces on those who passed in WW2 and other conflicts.
Between now and Armistice Day, we will dip into the biographies.
The information comes from a beautifully put together document published by Harlow Council
We begin with resident of Hastingwood Villas, Montagu Winch.
