Dan Swords and Local Conservatives thank residents for historic Harlow landslide victory

Dan Swords and the Local Conservatives have sincerely thanked the people of Harlow following their landslide victory in the local elections yesterday.
The Local Conservatives won all 11 district council seats and all five county council seats.

Dan Swords said:
“In this election, the people of Harlow have spoken – and they have spoken loudly.
“Against the backdrop of a difficult national picture, residents across our town delivered a record-breaking landslide victory for the Local Conservatives here in Harlow. Ward after ward, community after community, people chose to keep Harlow moving forward.
“We won every single district council ward and every Essex County Council division- an extraordinary result, achieved with huge majorities across the board.
“First and foremost, I want to say thank you. Thank you to every resident who placed their trust in me, in my team, and in the vision we have set out for our town. Thank you to every volunteer who knocked on doors, delivered leaflets, spoke to neighbours and never stopped believing in what we could achieve together. Thank you to the incredible YourHarlow.com and in particular, Michael Casey, who has kept news alive in this election – as he does 24/7 365.
“This result is humbling, and we will never take it for granted. Because this result is about more than politics. It is about pride in our town, belief in our future, and the kind of place we want Harlow to become.
“Three years ago, too many people had stopped believing things could change. Confidence had faded, and many felt our town had been left behind for too long.
“But together, we decided Harlow deserved better.
“We chose not to accept decline, not to settle for drift, and not to lower our expectations of what this town could achieve. Since then, we have worked every single day to rebuild pride in Harlow.
“Today, you can see that change around you. You can see new investment arriving, regeneration taking shape, and a town beginning to believe in itself again.
“And perhaps most importantly of all, this election proves the people of Harlow can see it too. They can see the progress. They can see the direction of travel. And yesterday, they voted overwhelmingly to keep going.
“That means everything to me. But with this victory comes great responsibility.
“The people of Harlow have placed enormous trust in us, and our job now is to repay that trust with hard work, humility and delivery.
“Because while today is a moment to celebrate, the work continues immediately. There is still so much more to do – more homes to build, more investment to secure, more pride to restore, and more opportunities to create for the next generation growing up in this town.
“And that is exactly what we will do. So today, we celebrate this incredible result together.
“But from tomorrow, we get back to work – continuing to rebuild Harlow, restore confidence in our town, and fight every single day for the people who have placed their trust in us.
“Thank you, Harlow. We will not let you down. We will Build Harlow’s Future.”
@Green.Party Harlow has more than enough moronic people who go around destroying the infrastructure, the bandstand is a good example of that. Fancy accusing Dan Swords and his team of setting fire to a local building! Suck it up buttercup, your side lost!
Well said Eileen, not a big fan of Dan swords but he is the better option over the others, which green party has proved with his childish remarks, who's the little boy here
I would like to say a big thank your support in me. I will work hard to replay that trust. We have lots to achieve and will be helping him complete the job of restoring Harlow to a fantastic place to live and work , to raise a family Don't forget if you need me then please contact me
Bigot Baz sounds like he is in the closet.
At Harlow Resident, We also spotted “Green Party’s” childish comment. Note, it’s now been removed. I can assure you it wasn’t not from the actual Harlow Green Party.
Dear Julie Taylor, was the comment or was it not from the Greens? A double negative in your last comment.
