RESULTS of the Epping Forest District Council election held on Thursday 7 May 2026.

Local government elections have been held to elect 18 district councillors to the 18 wards in the Epping Forest district. Elections are for 18 out of 54 district councillors (1/3) as we vote by thirds, meaning a third of councillors are elected each year over a 4-year cycle.

The fourth year is known as a fallow year and is when county council elections take place. The county council elections were postponed from 2025.
