Harlow Gymnastics Club show they are spring loaded in Luton

HARLOW Gymnastics continued the 2026 competition schedule with the GK Spring-loaded competition. The competition comprised a series of events and involved gymnasts from Cambridgeshire, Hampshire, Kent, Northamptonshire, Cheshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Essex and London.

Thea D, Polina V, Penelope-Blue B, Darcy S and Dulcie K shone at the first round held in Luton, with Freya S triumphant in the Oxfordshire event.

Penelope-Blue B won the overall trophy and gold medal in the level 7 2016 event after achieving a duo of gold medals for bars and beam. Olive C earned the silver overall medal after accomplishing gold on vault, silver on floor and bronze on bars. Lexi W scooped the overall bronze along with gold on floor and silver on vault. Ela W received bronze on floor and Teodora Z collected bronze on beam. Ruby H and Lia W finished in 9th and 11th place respectively in the same competition.

Dulcie K seized two gold individual apparatus medals on bars and beam and the overall trophy in the level 6 2013/14 event. Teammate Marci S captured the overall silver along with gold on floor, silvers on vault and beam, and bronze on bars, and Lottie N took gold on vault and bronze on beam.

In the level 7 2017/18 event, Polina V was rewarded with the overall trophy and gold medal, along with gold on beam, silver on floor and bronze on vault.

The overall medal and trophy for the level 7 2013/14 went to Darcy S after she bagged a duo of golds on floor and beam as well as a duo of silvers for bars and vault.

Ella G accomplished overall bronze in the level 7 2015 event in addition to a duo of bronze for beam and vault.

The overall trophy and gold medal for the Level 8 2017 event went to Thea D, along with silver on beam and a duo of bronze on bars and vault. In the same event Matilda W was rewarded with gold on bars and silver on floor, while teammate Minnie H took gold on floor.

Jessica D-M landed the overall bronze medal in the Level 8 2015 event, after gaining a gold for both floor and vault.

Skylah H and Erin V both competed in the Level 8 2016 event, with Skylah H attaining the bronze medal on floor.

There was further medal joy for Freya S and Millie S at the second event held in Oxfordshire. Freya S triumphed with the overall level 5 event trophy and gold medal after winning gold medals for bars and beam, as well as bronze for vault and floor. Narrowly behind, Millie S secured the overall silver medal as well as a trio of individual apparatus silver medals for bars, beam and floor, and 4th place on vault.

Overall, an incredibly successful competition for the club with over 40 individual apparatus medals and 6 event trophies achieved.
